December is Here!

be_rich_header
As part of Be Rich, Harvest Church is joining with local and international partners "to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share." Here are some ways that anyone who attends Harvest can participate by giving globally, giving locally, or serving locally.
Globally: Support World Vision. Click here.

For local serving or local giving opportunities, we are collecting hats and gloves for local elementary school students as well as collecting glovesfood and monetary donations for our local YWCA. Please deliver donations to the church lobby on or before Sunday December 19th. To make a donation online click here and be sure to select "missions" from the drop down menu. You can also serve individually or with your group of friends click here for a list of organizations and opportunities or click here to be inspired to create your own service project!

Don't miss the beginning of our Christmas series starting this Sunday! This three week series will be an excellent time to invite friends and family to join you at Harvest Church. You are not going to want to miss the beginning of the service this week so don't be late!

Christmas Eve: We will be having our family Candlelight Christmas Eve Service, December 24th 4-5pm. Bring the whole family!
No Church Service December 26th, the Sunday after Christmas. Thank you to all of our amazing and wonderful volunteers who make Harvest Church excellent 51 weeks of the year.  Merry Christmas!

Finally, Thank you to all of you who support the mission and vision of Harvest Church with your time, talents and resources. These last couple of years have been economically challenging for most of us and your generosity is helping to change people's minds about God and church regardless of the economic climate. We have had a good year and I would love to finish strong as we head into 2011. Please consider making an end of year tax-deductible donation to Harvest Church. In order to credit your contribution for the 2010 tax year, all gifts must be received or postmarked on or before January 31st. Click here for secure online giving.

I truly hope you have a wonderful Christmas season as we celebrate and remember the birth of Jesus!

Merry Christmas,
Jordan Clare
